Hempstead is situated in the gently rolling hills of north Essex and offers plenty of easy walking across arable farmland and woodlands.

Our first Walk (No.1) is shown here. Please print both pages to form the double sided A4 leaflet as it was designed. Hard copies are available in The Bluebell Inn which is an excellent re-fuelling station for your thirst and hunger conveniently situated in the heart of the village after completing your walk.

Two further walks will be added in Autumn 2010 and it is intended that a series of 6 will eventually be formed.
