Walking in Hempstead

Hempstead is situated in the gently rolling hills of north Essex and offers plenty of easy walking across arable farmland and woodlands. Please click here for an A3 black and white map which covers all major footpaths in Hempstead.

Hard copies are available in The Bluebell Inn where an honesty box of £1 per map is available. The Bluebell is an excellent re-fuelling station for your thirst and hunger conveniently situated in the heart of the village after completing your walk.
