Hempstead Village Hall
Hempstead Village Hall is a modern, warm, comfortable and well maintained community facility with a large main hall with stage and smaller side room which can be opened up to create one area for larger events, together with a fully equipped commercial type kitchen suitable for caterers or do it yourself food preparation and service. Hearing loop and free WiFi available.
The Village Hall can accommodate a maximum of 150 persons, 120 persons theatre style and 80 to 100 seated at tables dependant on lay out and utilisation of stage area. Supporting facilities include tables and chairs for 100 persons, additional seating for 20 persons and a range of crockery, cutlery and glass ware.
Main Hall
Floor area approx. 13.5m x 5,5m (75sq.m) with decorative wood block flooring is suitable for theatrical productions, live music, discos, presentations, family gatherings and parties.
Stage area 3.0m x 5.5m (16.5sq.m) By special arrangement may be extended to 4.5m x 5.5m or catwalk style.
Hall lighting levels are variable and acoustics optimised for speech and music supported by an assistive listening system.
Capacity for 120 persons seated theatre style.
Side Room
Floor area approx 5.5m x 3.8m (21sq.m) is suitable for meetings, small presentations and parties.
Usually configured as a meeting room.
Own external access through large sliding doors to Recreation Ground at rear of Hall.
Large folding doors allow the room to be used as an extension to the main hall.
Capacity for 20 persons seated.
Kitchen
Area 6.0m x 3.0m (18sq.m) Fitted throughout with stainless steel cupboards and work tops
Equipment includes electric cooker, fridge, microwave, hot-water urn and hot cupboard.
Fifty place setting of crockery, cutlery and glassware.
Door and hatch to main hall and external door to rear of hall.
Safety and hygiene facilities.
General
Heating maintained at all times by fan assisted and low surface temperature radiators to all rooms which are adjustable by hirer during hire period.
Access and toilet facilities for the disabled.
9 tables 1.8m x 0.76m + 4 x 1.2m x 0.76m and 100 matching chairs.
Full width patio with sun awning and sockets.
Car parking for 8 cars.

Rates
All room bookings include the use of kitchen and all Village Hall owned equipment.
In addition the non-exclusive use of the Recreation Ground and patio at the rear of the Village Hall.
